Today’s game is some more Shadow of Mordor. I unlocked Caragor mounting today and legitimately I’m so happy. I have a soft spot for anything vaguely feline and the Caragors are no exception. So to have some sort of semi pacifist option to keep them alive is so nice. I’ve stopped killing them and started going out of my way to keep them alive now.

I ended up doing all the War Chiefs too. I worked especially hard to get one called Maku the Funny all the way up to War Chief. This guy is honestly my personal favorite so far. I doubt Shadow of war will let you carry troops over, but I wish it did just so I could have Maku.

Outside of Maku, I spent all day just hunting War Chiefs and officers and bringing my guys up. It made me feel like I was in that one scene from The Two Towers movie where they’re chasing the Uruk-hai.

The game really likes to make me visit this one specific fort over and over. Most troops seem to spawn here. My guess is because it’s got a high population density compared to the rest of the area, so the chance is higher there.

Now that I’ve got my army setup, I think next I’m going to work some more on the story to get through that. The branding system has made stealth a lot easier because I can brand a few snipers before leaping into combat. Then I have some coverage.

I’m curious what your Steam replay looks like
I can’t seem to find it right now but I remember Red Dead 2, Halo MCC (with the most hours), and The last of Us Part I were all pretty major ones
