Isn’t this the kidna shit people said would happen before Xbox went and spent billions acquiring studios?

It’s supposed to be part of a big reset by the new CEO but they’re literally doing the same shit every other CEO has ever done when they take over. Whether it works or not remains to be seen, but losing double fine and Nina theory in the process fucking sucks major ass and makes me think this is a doomed pivot.

I don’t think Microsoft actually releases games. They just announce them, delay them, and cancel them.

Older games run at max at high resolution with no issues.

I do all that with sonarr. Custom quality profiles with size ranges to look for depending on the resolution wanted and quality profile selected.

You can also tell it to only keep specific episodes, or seasons. I only keep the first 10 seasons of The Simpsons as example. Or The Daily Show, I only keep the last 10 new episodes.

Honestly every icon having every color I found to be annoying and made them all blend together into a rainbow mess. This looks much cleaner and easier to read at a glance to me

now they’re pulling exclusivity because they believe it negatively impacts their ability to sell PlayStations.

Could be several reasons, but this sounds really plausible. Could also do with the rumors about steam being on Xbox, which means Sony PC ports will be on Xbox too.

But I still think Sony’s gonna learn you can’t put the genie back in the bottle.

If I didn’t know better, I’d say Sony hates the fact that PC players pushed back on having a PlayStation network requirement on PC games. And they wanted that data.

But Sony is famous for making super bad decisions and backpedaling so I wouldn’t worry too much. Worst case, their exclusives will be emulated and pirated someday.

If anything, it has encouraged people like me who were happily buying exclusives on PlayStation and PC to stop spending any more money on PlayStation though.

Any optimisations they make for low end devices now will only pay dividends in additional performance gains when the next steam deck and steam machine comes out
