I’d try Heiboard again, but it didn’t have built-in layout options, nor a clearly communicated way to get them last I tried it.

I think that’s on the development plate for 0.5 if I understand correctly.
Sadly AnysoftKeyboard hasn’t seen a release in some time either. Still using it for now, though.
I believe Thunderbird is K9’s current beta, rebranded.
There are, unfortunately, some features banks make mobile app exclusive (e.g. Zelle sometimes, check deposit).
I have a spare phone I keep in my drawer for when I really need a banking app.
The support article explains the rationale.
Unchecked by default would render the experiment useless.
Dishonored is the closest Deus Ex successor in my mind. Harvey Smith in the level design DNA.
I believe Apple still has the power to block third party store apps based on signature. It’s a security thing to be able clean malware.
South Park was right all along. Those time travelers really are taking our jobs.
It’s more that it’s a recent change to not allow it on US models. I think only the iv and v don’t allow it.
Only in some of the most recent and high-end. I think Apple just added one to the iphone within the last year. Qualcomm wasn’t much quicker. There’s a lot of perfectly good phones out there that don’t have AV1 hardware decoders.
It seems more concerning that YT is apparently forcing AV1 when there’s no hardware decoder for it (if I’m reading that thread right). Seems like that will make people think their battery is starting to go — better software decoder or not.
As I said, it’s on consoles too — including Switch. It’s just that it’s a secondary platform for it — meaning it may be a lesser experience than on the platform it was ported from.
I’m dubious Android even serves as a base for Kobo’s OS. I’ve seen no evidence to support that claim.
EDIT: if you are referring to Tolinos, they are not simple rebrands of Kobos.
Outward is on consoles as well, though PC is its primary platform.
Tolinos use different processors precisely because they run Android, while Kobos do not.
I’m not aware of any Kobo using Android.
Kobo? No. They have their own firmware.
Screen corners are prime real estate. They have infinite size beyond the screen, allowing you to quickly fling the pointer to them. It’s a big reason things like app menus or the Mac’s Mission Control are accessed by the screen corners.
The case likely began (as an investigation) while Trump was still in office. Here’s hoping it can continue.
