Outstanding visual is pretty packed this year, but I wish Nine Sols wins it. It’s not even underrated, just feels like it wasn’t talked much about outside of Hollow Knight enjoyers, maybe due to it launching on PC only (console version came out only recently), or perhaps due to the studio’s turbulent past. More people should really give it a go.
From my understanding, they do have contractors bid for projects. Though, fair and transparent or not is another issue.

For sure. I struggled so much in the Colosseum I did not finish the last stage (Aspids can go fuck themselves), and didn’t even bother with the Pantheon. Wasn’t story required anyway so I’m fine with it.
Forgiving? Base game Hollow Knight maybe, but late game Hollow Knight (Arena/Pantheon) I would rate much harder than Nine Sols.

Although this isn’t quite relevant before finishing the main game, be sure to pick up both the DLC once you’re finished.
Both DLCs are fantastic standalone stories, super rich in content they could even beat some full priced games. You could play the DLCs before finishing the main game (and there is an additional game mechanic introduced in Blood and Wine), but on a first run I would still recommend playing it after to not get distracted and take away the impact of the main story.

Every photocopy machine I’ve come across that accept USB sticks do not support exFAT, so what I would do with my USB stick is to split it into two partitions, one FAT32 and the rest exFAT.

It’s pretty fun so far, and rage inducing lol. You can see the inspirations drawn from Hollow Knight, Ori and such. Though, I find it way harder and unforgiving than Hollow Knight. The game really wants you to parry every single enemy attack, and will punish you quite hard you if you fail to do so. Just holding the block button does not work, it will block one attack but not the next. You need to press block (or ideally parry with the right timing) on every attack to avoid getting stun locked, which means fighting multiple enemies could be quite challenging, and enemies with quick attack combos are guaranteed to be a pain in the ass.

Yeah, to be fair, the naming isn’t great and I can see why people get confused by it. Magic Edit is not Magic Eraser. Magic Edit uses GenAI and gives you multiple options to choose from, while Magic Eraser is not based on GenAI and will only give you the result and no options to choose from.
Nebula works for now because it still has nowhere near the amount of videos being served and uploaded per minute than YouTube. Having to cache videos in servers all around the globe takes up significant cost too.
One thing people don’t/forget to mention, is that the microphones in even earpods tier wired earphones will sound infinitely better than most mics in Bluetooth headphones, even in the multiple hundred dollar tier range.
Also, you won’t be forced to go into crappy mono sound mode when on call using Bluetooth headphones. When I use BT headphones with my laptop, I almost always use the integrated mic on the laptop instead of the built in ones in the headphone due to this.
