Hey again, I hope you don’t mind a small update after a month:

It took ages for Apple to review my game, but now it’s on iOS!

Same deal as Android: Fully free, no ads, no in-app purchases (except a “Support the Developer” option), offline and zero data collection.

Of course it’s still on Google Play Store and also available as APK on Aurora (or wherever else you source your APKs).

I just released a new update for a better building mode to make decorating easier. Keep up-to-date at [email protected]

Have fun, go for a walk! 💚

Thanks for the assistance! I’ll have to play with it some more. I had it in the foreground and it definitely wasn’t more than 30 minutes between me turning my screen on and looking at it and while I did walk in one big loop I had opened and played it at different times in the loop so it was more like a big L that my screen was off and in my pocket, and it only tracked a small distance of what I actually walked and it seemed to be the times my screen was on.

Hm… GPS has been quite a pain so far, for both Android and iOS :)

The best hint: If footsteps appear your distance was tracked. So if you lock the phone, walk somewhere, unlock and there’s footsteps from your old to your new position the distance was 100% counted.

With the Godot settings in place the game should prevent your screen from switching off (I usually just lock my phone or use pocket mode if I want to keep it on).
