Ha! Just finished Thank Goodness You’re Here and it was the silliest, raunchiest, Northern Englishest?? thing I’ve played in a while. It was a bit of a fever dream. Like an Adult Swim cartoon with a joke a minute that you’re sort of “playing.” There’s not much in the way of controls and yet it was still incredibly satisfying how you unexpectedly interact with this bizarre world. Everyone in this town is off their rocker yet also loveable? I don’t even know how to describe it it was so unique. I guess just play it if this at all sounds intriguing. Short, but a completely wonderful way to spend a few hours.
I watched Game Grumps play this game a while back and found it very funny. Certainly a labor of love
It’s unfortunate they never finished it. 2 eps then poof. Game is right up their alley with the humor.
I was also disappointed by that.
Thankfully RTGame has a full playthrough and stream VOD uploaded. It’s actually who I watched play it first and I instantly fell in love
But why? The game is like 2 hours long at most.
I can imagine between Game Grumps, The Grumps, Ninja Sex Party, the extra Patreon content, and other schedules, they can get quite busy lol.
