I’m fine with it, just like I was fine with the Windows key: I could use an extra modifier in i3 / Sway and it’s easy to change the keycap, grind it blank with a Dremel wheel or tape it over if Microsoft makes you sick.
I’m not quite sure what “Linux rolls out the welcome mat” means though: it’s just an extra key. Linux / Xorg / Wayland already support keyboards.
Click/ragebait to force angry people to open the article because they think it’s about copilot and not just the key.
