If emulation is an option you could play some classics on your phone if it helps.
Sorry for your situation. Hope the future looks better.

Sorry to hear. It is a bit of an issue trying to work with these proprietary, closed systems. Sometimes it works and other times it just doesn’t.
I had success with one old model of Xiaomi band and not with another. There are all kinds of hacks and workarounds with modified versions of the Mi Fitness app to get it working on some models and it may or may not work for you.
Start here and hopefully you can get it working.
Grim Dawn is a similar concept with a different story if you’re looking for something similar as well.
Pretty sure some of the original Titan Quest team worked on it if I remember correctly.
and
both seem to have quite a few users. Maybe they’d work for you?
If you’re up for ARPGs, something like Titan Quest or Grim Dawn have many hours worth of gameplay.
Worth looking at as well is anything in the Monster Hunter series. World and Rise are both amazing along with their expansions and Wilds just recently released.
All of my recommendations are long-term games with many hours worth of playtime.
Nah the Lenovo was absolute hot garbage. And most of my hatred for Samsung is aimed at phones more than tablets.
Like you said, for the average person the tablets are fine, I’m just full of shit about it.
Agreed on getting used or going iPad if you wanted more as well.
Yeah it’s always a whole thing of steps and shit to get to something like that. Wish it were easier or just an option or something.
Been a while since I’ve looked honestly. But the fact that they’re either hard or impossible to flash with custom ROMs (on top of being expensive) in my experience just means I’ll never bother with them.
Hopefully someone else can chime in with more recent experience than me.
This very well may be OEM or custom ROM dependant.
Yeah I didn’t read it as a negative at all, but thanks for explaining anyway. Never got to the point of seriously trying tmux
yet, but I will eventually. I understand it does more than just “tabs in your terminal”.
Good to know, thanks. As a noob any information is useful to me.
The OEM install option allows you to customise your installation a bit. Upon first boot the user sets up their account and user name and they’re good to go.
It’s like buying a new laptop and setting up Windows upon first boot. Just less shit.
Have you tried Alacritty? And if you have, what are your opinions of it comparet do Kitty?
I refuse to buy a Samsung phone or tablet because they’re usually overpriced and bloated as hell. But you’re right that they’re one of the few OEMs actually bothering with Android tablets.
All I want is an Android tablet with good performance that’s supported by LineageOS for a few years.
My previous tablet was a POS from Lenovo. Garbage from day one, but it was supported by Lineage for a few years and let me consume media, which was what I wanted it for. Now I’m on the lookout for something else.
Wherever you end up, if you’re willing to use Flatpaks, you’ll have many up-to-date options.
I’m fine with them keeping both versions honestly.
They fix most of the problems I have with Ubuntu in the main version.
I do agree that focusing more on the Debian version would be a good move though.
Happens to me every now and then with FreeTube. Usually gets fixed with updates.
I’m a performance mode type myself. The games look good enough so I want them running smooth.
