Depends on the type of server too. My media server is arch (aur is godsend with all the weird little tools I’m running) but you’d have to be out of your fucking mind to use it for a web server.
Web server is usually Ubuntu server/Debian with virtualmin.
I opted weekly so I could store longer time periods. If I want to go a month back I just need 4 instead of 30. At least that was the main Idea. I’ve definitely realized I fucked something up weeks ago without noticing before lol.
I have weekly backups of my VMs in Proxmox. Fuck it lol.
Thank you. I’ve been thinking the same thing. People keep posting things that aren’t remotely close to Nova. I’m beginning to think there’s just nothing else at their level. Lawnchair seems like the closest so far but it’s still not customizable enough and the Google feed implementation randomly broke and I couldn’t get it to work again (amongst other annoyances and performance issues).
