Haha I need more Patch cables to get rid of those long ones. Also when I opened up the cabinet for this Pic I noticed the left fan isn’t dusty like the rest so it might be dead x_x
My 12u setup On top I have two pi’s; home assistant and pihole The ONT for fiber, hue bridge, and hdhomerun.

I’m not sure. I only recently switched to Linux and was thinking of trying ondsel but haven’t really looked into it further. But I also still have a windows vm on my server with sketchup 2017 in case I need to do anything with that to convert my sketch up projects
Sketch up or an easy cad program so you can easily measure your stuff and the rooms to find ways to fit your furniture. I used sketch up when I moved and just a top down 2d quick line drawing of our house. Then measured our furniture as objects and moved them around to see where we could fit and what direction to put our bed etc
If there’s a game that doesn’t work on Linux because of anti or something it probably won’t work in a vm either so dual booting would probably be the way to go to avoid that
Host steam-headless and use the GPU for that so you can have remote gaming on your phone anywhere you have 5G
are there people that only play FPS?
probably they just dont want to make new games and just want to keep expanding switch online, but still want to sell consoles as well
You can also run a free cloudflare tunnel. It’s what I us3 so I don’t have to open a port for my nextcloud but still want it to be able to sync to my phone while not on vpn
Was it working fine before? I’ve been using Bluetooth headphones and wireless mouse on popos for a few months now and only had an issue on a machine yesterday. I think it was because I was swapping the drive with the os on the several different motherboards to test different cpus
I think that’s what popos comes with, never looked into what the differences are between them or why one would want to switch
For email and calendar I’D probably look into proton. For other software tools i would start with services people like that you don’t have to manage other than be like the admin and as you go try and find alternatives and self host your own and teat it out. Maybe even something like digital ocean where you can just spin up a droplet that’s presetup for you and learn more and more until you’re comfortable to transition other people to it
I was just thinking about my free oracle server if it would be good for my own lemmy instance?
Have you checked out grav https://learn.getgrav.org/17/basics/what-is-grav
https://github.com/getgrav/grav
I use it just to make simple markdown sites for info like my gaming servers or if I feel like making a random blog post
I setup nextcloud and just use that to backup my Obsidian notes. But I also use next cloud deck depending on the type of notes or list I’m making
I’ve been using it for almost a year now and it works great. I used to just use a spread sheet to track my bills paychecks and due dates but this made it much nicer
Ok yeah after running more tests from the site I did see mine show up on some of them but I’ve only been able to compare to other recent results. I haven’t seen anyway to filter the results by cpu or gpu without it sending me to Google search which doesn’t help.
