I don’t identify with it though. Did I give the impression I did? My mindset is like “someone wrote that many words on this? Is it even a thing? IDK what that is, I guess I’m old or just out of touch…”

I have lots of young family members so I’m gonna go with Im just old I guess

  • I worked at Microsoft in the early 2000 era. before Xbox. I did the top level os consumer support stuff. not for corporate but for the general public that uses the os support channel. one day I was in a discussion group and we talked about what you think about the future kinda thing. it was supposed to be a relaxed discussion but once I brought up Linux and older hardware, I felt the temperature changed. it was later explained that I was black listed for my argument because it expressed that flaws in Windows and the potential of Linux. Years later I joked with a friend who still had an MS job, that putting the Linux subsystem in Windows was admitting I was right back then… this new Xbox coming out in competition to the steam system just makes me feel so justified. Microsoft will always be a second best because they can’t break the internal mindset that they are the top

  • No Man’s Sky update for the Colossus is a good time, the expedition is fun one you get past the initial phase where you can barely drive. Once you get that sucker souped up, oh man it is good fun. I finished the expedition and now I am upgrading my main save’s situation. Found a pretty red grass paradise planet that is relativity flat and so that makes it nice. The physics of the shit in the flatbed is frustrating but I just overfill it and that seems to keep most of it down when you hit a bump. I just went over 1,150 hours total and realized the game is almost at its 10 year anniversary. I played it on the first day and have always loved it, even when it was the most hated game on the internet. I am so happy for Hello Games and the turnaround they had and looking forward to their next big game Light No Fire
