So many “competitors” coming out, but I still think I’m just gonna wait for the Deck 2.

That 0.1% is the number of players who have the achievement, not OP’s completion progress. But it’s also probably very small.
If you were traveling at a constant 100 mph, it would take you 249 hours to travel around the circumference of the Earth, and 2,389 hours to reach the Moon. If the distances are actually accurate then these achievements should be nigh on impossible to get in any reasonable amount of time. That now 0.2% of players have them means the distances aren’t accurate, that they used an achievement unlocker, cheated in-game, or have a fuckton of playtime.
Yeah, Star Citizen is the world’s most expensive tech demo, that is the picture book definition of scope creep. It’ll just keep getting more and more complicated, but never get to any kind of a “complete game” state.
Transparency? Disgusting. I should be free to abuse my powers without peasants knowing, it’s my god given right!
Yeah, I really dislike PvPvE. I like to play SoT, it’s one of my favourite games to chill and play with friends while drinking… but only for the PvE content. I think most of the time, people are interested largely in one mode or the other. PvPers don’t like it when PvEers don’t engage them, and PvEers don’t like their chill time being interrupted by PvPers.
Yep. Been waiting years for this to happen, but Rockstar has done enough shit I hate, that I’m not planning on giving them any more money.
The expected values. It doesn’t necessarily mean the game is limited to 60 fps, but 60 is a common target to aim for. Knowing what specs you need to achieve it, given your resolution, is quite nice.
Really? I would think the biggest problem Lemmy users have with Epic is their business practices, not a lack of social features.
I don’t know anyone who uses steam chat or parties instead of something like Discord, so I’m not sure it really matters.
I think they looked better before they got sent off and painted, really just needed some weathering.
Also ultrawide support, so I can stop playing it on my secondary monitor, hooray.
Not sure since I only ever play with one person, but I’d love to work on one base together with multiple people, with everyone working on their specialities. For example, I have a basic knowledge of most popular tech mods, but I find some of them pretty tedious, so if there were someone who enjoyed them, that’d be great.
It has definitely gotten better, but it’s still several minutes, compared to the minute or less for Fabric.
Ha, at least you can get your friend group to play modded MC. When we play it’s usually just the two of us, because our friends don’t wanna deal with all the mods. Sometimes one of them will end up joining, usually by which point I’ve got Applied Energistics setup, which I offer them access to, since at least then they could start their own mod setup more easily.
The next Elder Scrolls needs to come out already, so we can see her in it.
My partner and I started playing another modded MC game last night. I always do all the tech mods, automation, digital storage, and building, and she does the magic, farming and husbandry.
We’d been using Fabric for quite a while but since I felt a longing for Mekanism, we decided to make it Forge. It’s not ideal since it isn’t necessarily as performant, and the loading times are a lot longer than Fabric, I just really wanted the convenience that Mekanism offers. Hopefully, more mods and modpacks will switch over to NeoForge.
NMS says hello.
In theory it’ll allow them to get the games out faster, or at the very least, get more done in the same time.
Eh
