oh yeah, private games are perfect. also worth mentioning that the campaign is basically a Saturday morning cartoon but it pulled ugly tears out of my scrunched up face like the goddamn exorcist removing a demon

Armored Core is famously serious and artistic but it lacks very engaging multiplayer. Basically just 1v1-4v4 deathmatches but they can be as interesting as you are creative with the mech customizations
amazing game, great robots. Just know that it’s also a fps for meth addicts and the multiplayer is essentially a series of death screens until you can pick up all the tech everyone is using
is it really not cheaper to just stop paywalling parts of the game?
not hard to do, I played it muted and with the captions off to spare myself from all that quirked up millennial dialogue.
pretty good like that, honestly
I just linked two old accounts to a private sub to test this. they’re not disseminating the Ai summary tool to everyone so I can’t tell if it will read deleted posts or my Redacted comments.
just a funny thing on the side though. the test post I made on my private sub got shared twice and viewed 26 times. whatever that was about
yes. well, all but… two? and the two that weren’t didn’t use clans as game mechanics either. one was a battle royal. but yeah Troika eventually dissolved and the devs went to other studios like Obsidian.
so there really haven’t been other games like bloodlines
yeah, the last couple games were interactive novels with 3 clans each being a storyline. there was a newer one that seemed to remove the clan system all together for you to just pick powers from a tree but they’re overall more of a world building feature now
I’m just surprised there are even different clans to play as. Seems like this series has been pivoting away from that for a while
getting ready for my next fell-for-it-again award 🧛
who is actually buying these? I thought having disposable income would preclude someone from thinking a live service grind that’s dead in a couple of months is a good use of time
Could have been worse. My first initial on reading the title was that some enshitification factory like Fandom. com or Microsoft had bought it
edit: wait nevermind. Chosen apparently is a literal enshitification company
I hear you. it’s frightening what they did to our boy. But I see Frau Engel being an absolute psychopath again on that thumbnail and it makes me think they might somehow remember the special sauce recipe
