Dual licensure is the obvious solution. Have a strong copyleft license as default (Sorry MIT!) and then have a non-transferrable commercial license for proprietary businesses.

31·14 days agoZero trust. Assume everything is compromised and mitigate the risk from each thing that is compromised.
ISP spying on you? VPN, encryption, spoof a metadata trail to throw off any potential correlation attacks.
Compromised modem? Air gap stuff, use wired LAN, some other stuff idk.
And so on. Just keep in mind that sometimes, your data just isn’t that valuable, and plan accordingly
I’m no Sysadmin but to me it sounds like we need a botnet/scraper resistant application layer protocol to replace HTTPS.
