How did you get your drive temps into home assistant?
*Deutschland wird schmelzen 🥲
Ouch, I will defenelty check on the system temps once I get home. Although I can’t really shut the whole thing off, maybe I can at least spin down the drive pool and kill all containers relying on that.
I hobestly don’t know how much of this temperature is the server and how much is just it beeing in a badly ventilated spot under the ceiling.
I don’t really do disk spindown as they are active most of the time anyways (Zfs spends most of the time scrubbing).
This is less about the increase during the last 24 hours and more about the current temp+expected increase.
Been using Strato (subsidiary of IONOS) for a few years now as well and got no complaints. Plus its only 12€/a for a .de or .eu domain.
I don’t often dock my steam deck (have no controller so I’ll only use it as a media console) but when I do the only issue I’ve had was some applications starting in the wrong resolution when in gaming mode.
Otherwise I can’t say I could see the issues you’re having; I have no issues with sound over HDMI, my mouse and other Bluetooth devices stay connected in desktop and gaming mode.
Have you tried connecting another device (ideally also Linux) through the same dongle to check wether it outputs the sound through the Tv?
I think we are using linux very differently. Mine is two and one of those was a dead ssd.
If you want a nicer looking (though less feature complete) app I can really recommend Lissen.
And having a unified clippboard is just so convenient
You can predefine keywords/phrases, yes. But there are many other options. You can tag different documents based on how they wherer ingressed (which e-Mail they came/were sent to from for example). I have it set up so that my scanner has a few different quick action buttons which atomatically upload the documents into different folders (think bills, helthcare, bank, etc.) Then paperless tags and sorts them based on those folders.
I also does machine-learning when enabled which works ok in my experience.
Man, I read the title and wanted to commebt paperless ngx before reading your post.
Whrere are you from?
Because in Germany it is really common.
I have been looking for a new contract for a while now, because my dsl is shit (thanks to my landlord). But all new cable contracts I can find are NATed (ecxept buisness contracts).
Fair, it is a lot harder, but possible (you could vpn your traffick through a vps). Actually one of the reasons I have not changed my terribly slow contract yet.
Not necessairly. In Germany CGNAT is quite common. So if one of OPs devices routes via IPv4, the traffic will be routed to the carriers public facing router. I would not consider that local as it physically leaves the cables you control.
Does your provider give you yoir own (not necessairly fixed, jus no one else having it simultaniously) IPv4-Address? Some keywords to look out for wrt that are NAT, or DS(dual stack)-lite.
Basically the traffic goes all the way out to whatever device has that public IP. It then is routed back.
This would be a problem if OP has a provider who NATed him (which is quite common where he is from), right?
Bow tie looks better imo
I think I was a bit unclear on that, I meant uncompressed rips as in I ripped the relevant media to unkompressed mkvs, I didn’t save the entire disk dump. I also have mostly such rips, but also a bit of media from other sourches ™ which is already compressed. So I suspect my results would be even worse.
How is the cpu below ambient temperature?
