Yeah this is an outdated idea, batteries have been decent since the 7 series and have improved every iteration. My P10Pro XL has great battery life and no overheating issues etc. Running GrapheneOS.

I run the NoScript add on in Firefox and that seems to stop the ads. UBlock Origin does its best but, like you said, it’s not enough.

Yeah they’ve already done away with the headphone jack on their mid-high end phones. They still have a microSD slot though, and they’re in talks with GrapheneOS to release a device. Oh and the bootloader is still unlockable, unlike Samsung.

And the OG Playstation was a cheap CD player. There’s still a cult following for the “audiophile” variant.

Yeah I gave up on Nintendo when they started the virtual card BS. Got myself a second Switch, mod chipped it, and stuck a 512GB microSD card in it. Now I have all the games I’ve purchased (and some I haven’t) ready to go.
