This is the way.

You don’t actually have to catch them all.

I’ve never bothered doing that in any of the pokemon games I’ve played and still thoroughly enjoyed them.

The noble move would be to enable players to host their own servers.

It’s not that difficult, especially if the devs aren’t complete morons.

But hey, why set that standard?

I recommend just playing, or replying, the older games instead of wasting money on some indie trash to fill the void.

Yeah, the series died with Pearl for me.

Still good games up to that point, though.
