There are many other AMD64 laptops but afaik there isn’t a single Linux focused Arm laptop. Tuxedo was working on one but found there were no advantages (in battery life or performance) of the Snapdragon X Elite over AMD64 processors (not helped by almost no official Linux support).

Theoretically with the X2 elite Tuxedo might reconsider but its highly unlikely, the core issues have not yet been addressed and there’s no reason to believe they will be.

As for why Apple instead of pushing for Snapdragon support, because there’s several models from many gems so supporting them is significantly harder. Also people actually use Apple hardware rather than snapdragon hardware (outside mobile users).

Afaik KDE doesn’t officially support FreeBSD, I’m pretty sure its a community maintained port

Quite frankly right now they just need to focus on becoming stable and reaching software parity with Windows XP, the reason it can even do that is because of a leak but if they pushed it and reverse engineered windows 7 Microsoft would shut it down.

Maybe one day it’ll actually work, ah hell who am I kidding it never will :3

Idk I picked it up and personally I felt the complete opposite. Everyone says its so massive and huge, I expected this massive bulky handheld but sadly its the opposite. Its big yeah but not really controller sized, my hands are too big for it so I’ll just stick to the steam controller (until the new one releases)

Personally the show just makes me feel sad, everything is grand and scaled up yet nothing matters and everything feels tiny. So I’ll just list of several nitpiks because I feel like it:

• The NCR is randomly dead for some BS reason and we’re all just supposed to accept that nothing rises from the ashes. As if a nuke could kill the NCR considering in NV leadership is clearly more local.
• The legion is simplified and dulled down with no praetorian, no centurions, and no frumentarii. Then they’re probably just killed or something because Bethesda hates factions now I guess.
• The brotherhood is just all style no substance like the rest of the show
• Minor factions like the followers ofc don’t appear at all
• The MC is unbearable, how does one exist in the fallout universe yet always pick the wrong dialogue options?

Im not asking for it to be deep and philosophical, hell it doesn’t even need to have NV levels of Hegalian dialectics, but at least some substance other than “vault tech is big bad and society is perpetually dead”

At this point just get a new PC, you cant really upgrade the CPU significantly enough to make a difference

Quite frankly Linux mint and Cinnamon by extension is X11 software and I dont expect the transition to be completed anytime in the foreseeable future let alone acturally start for users. Even with their incredibly slow adoption of Wayland im shocked they’re going this fast, I thought they would wait another several years. Linux Mint is stable software and they’re significantly less willing to make any changes than even Debian.

(Btw its just testing atm, nothing exists for users yet)

And who on earth is giving these awards? Some shitty slop “gaming journalist”? Because its certainly not any reapected reviewers. Personally when I think of award winning indie studios I think Team Cherry, Devolver Digital, Studio MDHR, Galactic Cafe, or Motion Twin.

Im not familiar with their work but they sound like a slop developer who tried to publish a game with messed up content and is now whining about not being able to sell it

(Edit: I looked into them, they are absolutely not an award winning indie studio and def not one of the best, they’re a slop factory and they make asset flip low quality horror games)
