I hope this doesn’t affect my folders full of every Sega game rom ever.
Hadn’t heard of this one, thanks for the heads-up. It looks up my alley.
I feel like I’m biased and it’s my answer for everything, but RDR2. No other game environment has come close, for me. Screenshot from one moody moment I captured:
Have you played RDR2? It’s open-world, the world is stunning (you can easily ignore the stories and just take in the nature), and the game revolves around your camp/gang, which you regularly return to and interact/check-in with, in addition to accompanying them on missions at times.
Just don’t post about your visit to YouTube.
Are there any notable features that make it stand out from Stardew or others?
Thanks, Obama.

The whole article reads like satire.
That haptic feedback on the PS5 controller is a rare feature that actually adds something to a controller. If there are third-party options with the haptics, I’d love to know about them, because they kind of spoil you once you get used to them.
Is this bean magnate Peter Molyneux!? He makes games now?
If they realize they can sell individual jokers, etc…at $.99 a pop as DLC, the developer is about to be a billionaire and create so many new sick people in the world.
Jack Black is officially jumping the shark.
The guided part does take a bit to get through, but it sets you free pretty soon after you’re out of the snow.
It’s very much worth it, in my opinion. It continues to ruin many other games for me.
There are only a few companies that could even hope to take on Valve, at this stage. The likes of EA and others. But by definition, their company culture means they’ll never be able to take on Valve.
Someone else made a comment about what will happen when Gabe steps down and I suddenly realize what a short-term golden age we’re likely living in, even with all the bullshit.
NFL 2K. NFL 2K5 was so good and scared EA so much, it led to the EA/NFL exclusivity deal and the death of the entire football game genre for the last few decades now.
Splinter Cell, specifically picking up where Chaos Theory left off. Use it to showcase Unreal Engine 5 lighting and make it a proper, spectacular stealth game again with Spies v. Mercs multiplayer.
