Tetrips, or maybe it was Tetripz, I can’t remember, it’s been years. It’s Tetris except with crazy video effects that supposedly simulate being on various drugs. It’s a lot harder to play when the whole screen is flashing and bouncing and twisting.

141·2 years agoMy friend finally convinced me to try PoE. I generally like it, but it seems… Unpolished? I dunno. Kinda stuttery. Too much going on. It’s like they’ve just accepted and (mostly) implemented every single feature request they ever got without necessarily thinking about how it should work with all the other stuff. Not really a fan of the item/jewel/currency system or the skill tree. Like, I just want to play the game and kill monsters and make things go boom, this is too much work and planning.
I do love the carnage, though… When my level 5 or 6 fighter guy swung a regular white text sword for a regular non skill attack and it took out like 5 zombies at once, that was really nice. Never did that in Diablo.
That’s my highly unscientific opinion after playing for about a week. Sounds like 2 is going to clean up and address some of my complaints, so I’m looking forward to it.

Technology@lemmy.ml•Ford’s CEO Is Daily Driving A Xiaomi SU7 EV And Loving It | CarscoopsEnglish
4·2 years agoI’ve always been sort of vaguely curious what car company CEOs drive, if/when they aren’t just being chauffeured around in the company limo. Like, what’s in their garage, and if left to their own devices, what would they drive around in to run get groceries or go out to eat or whatever.
Moreso the “regular” car brands than the luxury ones. Like I assume the head of Porsche drives a high end Cayenne or 911 (or both), so that’s less interesting.
But, like, does the CEO of Chevrolet drive a Chevrolet? Does he have a maxed out Suburban? Or does he step up to the Escalade, even if it’s from a different division? Or does he eschew GM entirely and go for the Rolls/Bentley, or a pasta rocket?
In this case, it looks like Ford’s CEO is driving the direct competition, which is interesting. Makes sense, I suppose, though it’s not at all the answer I expected.

1·2 years agoYup, same. Upgraded from P6 to P7 for $20 a couple Black Fridays ago. The P7 is starting to get a little wonky, so I’m waiting to see what the sales look like this year, it’ll almost certainly be either a Pixel 9 or Nothing Phone (2).
