Persona series, maybe. The entire franchise is all about making friends, deepening relationships, and working together to fight monsters.
I saw somebody here recommend Kenshi, so I’m going to recommend RimWorld as well. It’s a colony building game, but it’s kind of anxiety-inducing lol
I used to do beets and cmus but eventually moved to MusicBrainz Picard and Strawberrry Music Player. I sync to my phone with syncthing.
StarCraft. I never played Legacy of the Void campaign and I was told the ending was bad. Would be nice to have a StarCraft III though
Dink Smallwood is an old fantasy role playing game. It has a small community that makes mods for it. It’s really dumb but it’s free to play and very short if you have nothing better to do.
edit: Wow! I didn’t realize a lot of people here know this game. That’s actually cool.
I assume it’s fake because they don’t mention the game itself in the review and I see it copy-pasted in a lot of games. I think it’s a way to farm steam point rewards.
I hate those copy-pasted reviews of an old person having lots of fun playing the game with their kid. It’s told in a way that’s emotional and I thought it was true until I started seeing the exact same review copy-pasted on every other game.

I also really like the tunnels feature. It makes self hosting at home easy for those under NAT/CGNAT or whatever it was called.
I use dex and picom now. Every few months I learn something new about running i3wm with no DE.
I haven’t tried it yet but I would rather dual boot for games with anti-cheat that don’t work with Wine or a VM.
It really is bad compared to KVM. Though for my usecase of pandoc+vim, running Debian with VMware does the job. Browsing the web, watching videos, and listening to music are okay too. It’s very bad for GPU accelerated stuff though which is what the Windows host is for.
I want to dual boot again but I’m still working on this project on one of my SSDs so I don’t want to touch anything yet.
Been using Debian stable again this year, but this time in a VM (Windows host. I know, I know.)
I’m very happy with it. I tried other distros but kept coming back to Debian.
I really want to say Gandi but they charge too much now and removed the free mailboxes.
Anyway, I’ll vouch for Netim. Their prices are similar to (old) Gandi and they have a mailbox too. I’m looking into Spaceship for some other domains because they’re really cheap.

There’s a lot of subs like these which I don’t want to name. Basically, subs with anti-corpo principles but refuses to leave corpo Reddit. I’m happy for the subs who are still dark even until now (and even more reason to be now that Reddit is deleting older DMs and removing awards/coins).
