4 months agoman fuck that. also this just reminded me, way back when skyrim first came out, i shoplifted the disc from walmart and wrote down the product key (i didnt have a phone) on my hand with a marker i just took off a shelf in the crafts section.
i get home and put the disc in and then steam opens up and thats where i put the product key
the disc didnt have anything on it. it just downloaded from steam
like 15 years ago you could install ubuntu through an exe on windows, but i believe they stopped supporting it, which sucks.
you may be able to find an archive of one of those old installers and install it like that, but i believe this was all the way back in version 11.04 or 12.04
