Is anybody who updated already using Findroid? Just wondering if the update breaks anything in terms of 3rd party apps.

3·14 hours agoYeah same. I am really bad at keeping stuff updated so I rather keep it local too.
Ah, forgot about gg.deals, I already had it bookmarked but only for their free games feed. Thanks!
So, I only ever used it for price history of games. Is there a different site that can look that up?

Android@lemmy.world•Google seems to have pushed a massive amount of ai-generated 4 and 5 star reviews to their new "Android Developer Verifier" appEnglish
8·13 days agoIt is doubly hilarious because on most apps I do not even see any reviews anymore for some reason, already for a long time.
Leave to Sony to come up with the stupidest numbering. 10…8?
Well if you tap the kiss button (in the search bar on one of the sides) it gives you an alphabetical list to scroll through. So you don’t have to use the search.
Favourites you can only pin to an always visible favourites bar though. But it can show you the most used apps also in the vertical list, so maybe its a compromise, not sure.

How the fuck does anyone describe an artist generating game artwork as “human-led process”? You know what this rather sounds like? A “human” prompting image generation.

3·20 days agoSure, my comment was not meant as “don’t even bother”, it was to criticise only the phrase “we ditched it”.

Linux@lemmy.world•After Europe ditched Windows, China follows suit with its own home-grown Linux distrosEnglish
1343·20 days agoEurope didn’t really “ditch Windows” though or did it. You see news of some places switching to Linux or planning to switch, but if you work in a company in Europe and its not an IT company, chances are they are using Windows still. Consumers may have left Windows for Linux somewhat but most are still stuck there as well.

4·1 month agoI’m using it in parallel with Fennec. Ironfox a lot of times takes ages to load a page, I know its likely because it is stricter what to strip away or block or whatever it does during that, but sometimes I cannot be bothered to wait 5-10 seconds until I see the page, so I use Fennec.
