I would recommend running untrusted proprietary software as a webapp if possible, it will not be able to be as intrusive in that case compared to native app even with all the sandboxing (flatpak, snap, etc…). Or Virtual machine as the most secure option, but it may be overkill.
You can jailbreak the console, but you have to be on system software at least couple of years old or so. And ofc do not connect it to the internet, then you can pirate all the games you want. Check out modded warfare channel on youtube, there are various exploits for ps3/4/5 and he explains how to do them well.
I would recommend ReadReader for accessing Reddit. It is a FOSS app that for some reason still works fine even over orbot (tor). Never had an account on Reddit only used it to lurk through these types of apps.
