What’s weird about it
What’s weird about it
I read this as “fractured bloons” and was excited for a new bloons tower defense game
You should take into consideration the additional load this would generate on IT, both short and long term.
The transition would be relatively costly. As would all the support tickets that go in for users asking “how do you do x. In word, I used to be able to click here and here and now it’s not there”
The other area i would be concerned about it excel. Many organizations rely heavily on excel and moving to another type might make calculations, pivot tables, etc, break. You’d need to do a feature analysis across a variety of use cases and roles. (And I’m pretty sure the finance team would poison your coffee for even suggesting moving off excel)
Until it gets mass adoption, then the enshitification will begin. Bluesky is still funded by a corporation.
Oblivion remastered on steam deck has been a lot of nostalgic fun for me.
Factorio, stardew, civ vi are my top 3.
I downloaded unreal, opened it, got overwhelmed and un-installed it.
Pretty happy with godot so far
Not publicly.
Last of us part 2 was remastered? Didn’t that only come out a couple years ago?
Eh. I wouldn’t buy it, but i would support more competition in the market. Maybe Microsoft could make a version of windows specfic to handheld that Lenovo and asus could use.
Grand prix story and game dev tycoon.
Both good games, low stress, clear progression
Yeah i know. I meant more in terms of peope who don’t know the way these two are connected.
Atari has had some very sketchy business practices and screwed over consumers a bunch of times. Most people don’t know they are effectively the same company as infogrames
Guess they ran their brand too far into the ground. Now they gotta dig up another
Many people are not informed for how this stuff works. They see an open world racing game they can play with friends and don’t understand what’s needed to make that happen.
It’s in your steam page for that game. https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/purchases-and-rewards/article/locating-your-cd-key-in-steam/000076555
He’s noticed an issue that people who are into tech always push complicated things onto non techies. I don’t see how that is contradictory or weird…
I think he’s talking in general. But who knows.
The whole point is that a bunch of people don’t have the technical skills to figure out FOSS. Sure, sometimes the ux is just as good as the main competitor, but in my experience, usually it isnt and has a decent learning curve
I save scum in this play through, but I dont intend to on the next one. Part of the magic is that the game adapts to your bad dice rolls. Just because you succeeded a roll doesn’t mean it’s the “good” option. It’s just a different one.
And the eye horror stuff is really only in the intro (although I’m only 20 hours in so it may come up later)
Is that GOGs own launcher? Why specifically for Linux users?
