What about the pressure sensitive buttons from PS2? Those MGS games really needed that feature.

Where do I sign up to Hail Sithis?
as long as you own the game, emulation is legal.
People say this, but I believe it is mostly technically untrue. It’d be a relatively easy argument to say that a downloaded ROM that isn’t exactly the digital copy YOU purchased with a license would be seen as not legal.
However some people talk about literally ripping the game off the physical device themselves, hence copying their own copy of it. Now you are in grey territory of making copies of copyrighted materials, and in the case of more modern games like the last decade, they almost assuredly have language that specifies you don’t actually own the code and all that.
All I’m saying is be careful and probably refrain from repeating the fallacy that owning a game makes emulation of it legal, because that implies having the ROM is legal and that’s doubtful.
A hell of a lot of Ubisoft open-world slop released around and in the 2010s.
At the time of its release, it’s wow factor for me was simply some fucking color, compared to PS3 Skyrim which had released mere months earlier.
I love both games, but there’s something about Amalur that I think I love more that I can only think of as it being just medium, average, mediocre but not bad. It’s just something kinda fun. Comfortable.
I do always love “records” that are effectively population increases.
Just like when people share maps of data that are effectively just showing population distribution.
You just asked for a desktop pc tho.

Your comment made me very curious, and I dunno if this is hilarious or disappointing.
This is one of the many reasons I laugh at the copycats. I saw some in a store recently too. They almost always lack the touchpads, or the rear buttons, or the amount of buttons is less, or the positioning, or they run Windows 11. Almost all cost more than a Steam Deck as well. No thanks.
Enslaved is great. I love games from that PS3 X360 era.
Another great hidden gem from that era is The Saboteur. It’s on Steam and plays well. With some minor tweaks it works well on Steam Deck too. It’s such a great unique game from another amazing studio that was unfortunately screwed over by the behemoth shitty corporations in the industry.
Just saw an Asus I think in Best Buy, and some other brand as well. More expensive than a Steam Deck and lacking a few features like all of the rear buttons and the two touchpads.
One of them also clearly was just Windows 11.
Pathetic. Buy a Steam Deck.
Yup. My Steam Link was a semi-cheap purchase when they were on sale, and over time their continued support of it only pushed me to use Steam more and more. I still use it today, and it was a big part of why I adopted the Deck right away.
I played this on Steam Deck last year. Great game for its time.
Hey look! It’s DLC Seller 5! Can’t wait to buy more DLC.
Pro tip, if your sentence ever begins with “am I the only one…” then just stop and completely reconsider how you want to present the point you want to make. Just make the point. Lose the fluff.
You aren’t the only one. Nobody is ever the only one.
VRally4 is a lot of fun on Steam Deck. I also enjoyed WRC4 on PS Vita.
I played a lot of Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo on PS4, and while it’s got quite a few drawbacks, I had a lot of fun still. It was most painful trying to use a wheel and get the settings right, but with controller amd easier settings, it wasn’t bad.
Their gimmick will be insane cost with 50% of previous gen features included!
This is why I sometimes enjoy Ubisoft trash. Especially Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint. Just the same old shit on a massive map, an okay story, fun gameplay. Easy. Simple. Nice for mindless bullshit.
For an RPG, try Kingdoms of Amalur.
