Your mom’s Tizen TV doesn’t have a Wireguard or Tailscale client, so you’re going to be the person configuring her router, or setting up a Pi or something, as well as now being the designated tech support.

One was automatic collections, but the plugin for this has since been updated, and the bug I was experiencing has been fixed. The one remaining feature that I’m missing is user ratings for media. On Plex I have automatic collections of movies that I’ve rated four and five stars, and it’s quite useful.
Jellyfin is great… As long as you’re the only one who needs to access the server. I’ve switched to using Jellyfin myself, but I still run Plex for others to access.
I’ve found that I get a smoother playback experience on Jellyfin, but even outside of potential security issues, there are a still couple of features I miss from Plex.
Some people clearly don’t see a difference between mentioning a part of a relationship and just stating what their sexuality is. One is appropriate in a much broader spectrum of settings than the other, regardless of what the sexuality of the person in question is, and I feel like people who don’t understand, or refuse to, are likely to be obnoxious to be around in general.
1 wasn’t quite polished enough for me, but 2 was a lot of fun. The writing for the other two was horrendous, but I played through 3 for the gameplay loop; I would just turn off audio for a while when they talked too much. The Telltale game is fine for what it is, but their games are all exposition hallways.
I’m not getting 4 until it’s $60 or less - if then.
Haven’t seen any complaints about F, but the SH2 remake was made by a studio with a spotty record, they made some unnecessary changes, and it still has traversal stutter.
I hadn’t thought to automate connecting to Wireguard when not on my home network, that’s a good call. I’ve just set up Tasker on my phone and tablet.
Too many red flags, I can’t see this being good. Would love to be proven wrong though.
I can t respect them going back and improving the original game, but it still didn’t click with me, so I’m unlikely to try the sequel.
I’m still using Plex because Jellyfin refuses to play surround sound on my Nvidia Shield. I do have a Jellyfin server running alongside Plex, with synchronized progress, for the inevitable point where I will have to jump ship.
It ended up being my second distro because Kubuntu completely crapped out after an update. Tumbleweed is excellent!
You suggested Wireguard, not me. I’m pointing out how it isn’t a great solution to the problem that was presented; you can safely access it remotely with a VPN, but then that isn’t very useful for sharing with others, and you can expose the service to the internet at large, but then you’re opening yourself to risk.
