I use this and it’s FANTASTIC. You can clean urls before you open them and even unshorten them to see where they go. You set it to your default browser and then adjust the url.

They have optimized timberborn a lot since launch. Also I’m curious how well it runs on Linux under steam’s proton commits. I’ve been able to run several windows titles effectively.

It’s a bit too short in my opinion, but fun. It does rounds of building and preparing then you have to endure the winter.

Equally along those same lines, Timberborn is really cool. It’s another city builder, but with beavers. You have to survive waves of drought.

I love keepass. I used to use bitwarden, but was annoyed they pay walled totp. I know you can use bitwarden_rs and self host it, but i had an instance where the container stopped and was sol and couldn’t ssh out to the host lol. I use rsync to sync my encrypted keepass to all devices. I use the free tier of pcloud, so probably not rsync, but maybe. I have two Linux hosts and my android. It all works seamlessly.

It is quite a large project to move from over ci/cd to another. I worked at EA for 13 years and we moved from Jenkins to another platform. (Jenkins suuuuucks. If you ever wonder what hell looks like, try to maintain a Jenkins instance with a shit ton of plugins, half of which are no longer maintained and you have to upgrade the instance…)

Motorola. I used to work at a place that had Motorola branded bat boxes. They are not the same. My roommates partner had a phone that was the MINIMUM amount of specs. We’re talking 32/32. I verified it because i couldn’t believe it. And the thing was riddled with ads. I put him on a custom launcher and my private dns, 33.84% of his phones queries have been blocked. What in the hell.

Reminds me of when I worked for EA on the development and release engineering team and we had to scrape all of our Jenkins and QuickBuild code base to remove references of “master” and “slave” and change it to “parent” and “child” or “primary” and “secondary”.

I just installed librewolf on my Linux laptop and you can customize how strict it is in the settings. There’s a librewolf setting group in the settings to adjust the fork customizations that they have made.

As an Ex BioWare and EA employee of 13 years, I can certainly tell you, Maxis and BioWare are separate studios with separate decisions. EA does own them but the decision is not related. I can say, however, EA sets the bar way too damn high. I’m just waiting for it to bite them in the ass. I feel like it’s already started.

I mean honestly, if you’re worried, I’d root the device and install a custom ROM that is privacy focused.

QB is based on Hudson) made by them, pmease. Robin Shine is the dev and he’s really cool, very responsive. Check it out, they make good stuff.

This is perfect if you’re going the kanban route, which is arguably sufficient. It’s nice that they have different deployments and a demo.

I also love this game. It’s just fun to play.

I am definitely going to share this story with the team. It really touched my heart and I’m sure it will theirs.
