I know that very well, my point is that a title like that is slightly misleading because it seems there’s a new hero to play around in normal game modes, when in reality is just a very early on concept of a hero for testing in a specific mode. That’s all.
I think it’s slightly misleading saying they’ve added a new hero on the title, when in reality they’ve just added a very very pre alpha stage hero to the hero labs, a mode made for people to test and give feedback on hero concepts
For the moment, the Trapper placeholder is literally Pocket but with a different hair and suitcase. Magician, another hero labs hero, has the same half animated model as Seven. There are two other heros there that are quick sketches of the models from when Deadlock was a sci-fi game
Ditch Mozilla for what?
You do know screenshots exist
App doesn’t allow screenshots or screen sharing as part of the security features
Also, don’t do mobile banking
Many times that’s simply impossible depending on the bank, and it’s wholly inconvenient for most people. Security wise, it also depends on way too many variables, so you can’t just tell people to not do it and don’t elaborate further.
As usual, we are treated like third class citizens, but the community always comes to help: https://github.com/Martichou/rquickshare
They are way better, faster without sacrificing precision/security. With an ultrasonic sensor I can simply tap the screen and it’s unlocked, where with the optical ones I’d need to press for a second before unlocking, sometimes having to shuffle my finger around.
Because they are different devices serving different purposes. The r36s is a portable emulator that’ll run games from different consoles; the playdate is a portable console that runs games made specifically for the playdate.
How is atomic less confusing? Immutable means that something doesn’t change, atomic means that it’s the size of an atom or has nuclear energy
EDIT: I’ve learned that some people are overly pedantic about the meaning and practical use of the word “immutable”, so much so that they decided to create a bigger confusion by giving another word a completely different and exclusive meaning
“Why would I want to put anything on these highly used social networks where all of my friends and people I follow are?”
His videos used to be pretty good, but his RE4 “comparison” one was pretty much 40 minutes of strawman arguments from someone that hates change. I’m not hopeful at all for this video here considering DRDR turned out really good as well.
You still have to install WhatsApp though, since it requires activity on your account (on the app) every 14 days.
People vastly misinterpreted this EU ruling. Having pull tabs, or the new thing Apple is doing, is already enough to be in line with the requirements. Since the phones have water resistance, they are technically designed to work under water, thus they aren’t required to have an easily accessible battery cover.
You don’t need a Google account to use either Private or Work space, and Google recommends using an alternative account to your main one.
Living in the EU and Latin America, I can safely say this has never been an issue before with the exception of Proton Mail which took me 8 confirmations and 5 retries
Pixel 9 has an ultrasonic sensor
It is very much actively maintained other than this supposed vacation from the developer. Everything else is purely speculation and what seems to be impersonation of the dev on the fediverse.
They can’t link because it doesn’t exist. This is a green account with quite a negative reputation, their comment is just a bogus line that is brushing people off from this app. They even misspelled the app’s name in their misinformation attempt.
Unless they’re in India, I don’t see how that’s possible. Google will block you from doing payments if your account is on another country for too long (after a month or so from my experience), and after a year they’ll forcefully move your account to the country you’re residing in.
Finally! One of the most requested (and complained about the lack of) features from tech circles and even outside of those, but leave it to Lemmy users to be comically negative about it.
You people are miserable
