Either I’m greatly misunderstanding you, or you have that completely backwards. The further you are from a screen the smaller the pixels are in your field of view, and the less jagged the image will look. If you are closer to your screen the easier it is to see individual pixels, thus they need to be smaller to get a smoother image.
Display scaling settings. Every OS has them. They let you render your UI larger while still taking advantage of the increased resolution. For instance a 4k display at 200% display scaling will have everything be the same size as an equivalent 1080p screen, but will still look much smoother because it is actually using the proper resolution for rendering.
I can already run cyberpunk on my pc. I want this so I can now see it in VR in higher quality than my current headset, wirelessly, with a much less bulky format.
The latency issue looks completely solved. It has a custom 6ghz wifi connection and they have an eye tracking foveated compression that is apparently flawless. It reduces the bit rate where you aren’t looking to reduce latency, and from what I heard is completely imperceptible.
When did you get it and for how much?
I think people are forgetting that the steam machine is going to ship with a controller as well. I think they have to split their controller production between people buying just the controller and the amount of steam machines they are producing as they get ready to launch that.
As someone who works in retail, even our best sales at our store will still make us around a 10% profit. Our normal GP for items sits around 30% to 40%, so while it is less than that we almost never actually sell things for a real loss.
For me it took a few hours to get into. Once the station starts to open up and becomes less linear it gets really good. I really love how that games level design tells so many interesting stories in different corners of the station.
No but it seems to have like 40 hours on a good charge and can charge and play at the same time with the puck. So I kinda doubt it will be an issue. And it’s fully replaceable with no glue and just a few screws? That seems completely fine to me.

The feature full camera app is only on the pro pixels cause Google is a POS company that locks your camera’s capabilities behind a paywall.
Using a Linux terminal and coding are extremely different things.

Have you gone and looked at what W3 looks like recently? It’s not a bad looking game by any stretch but this still looks significantly better imo. The vegetation density definitely looks way better, as well as the lighting.
Just for the record, the in game OST was properly done by MG and was great. It was the Official OST album that was taking bits from that OST to make full songs that were very sub-par. The music MG was making is very dynamic in game, and each level had multiple musical phrases that start and stop dynamically during gameplay (this isn’t unique to doom of course, lots of games do this.) in game the music is some of his best work imo, and really brings the gameplay to another level.
Some people have released better mixes of the songs taken and edited from those music clips in the game files to make better mixes than the Official OST album.
Serious question. Do ANY of those have track pads? Because so far those seem to be something that only the deck has and I find them to be its most important feature.
If you are a fan of HP your choices are few and far between. If you are a fan of electric cars there are tons of better options that you can choose from. Adding on to that, the level of investment in both are orders of magnitude apart. What’s more, Tesla as a company has a reputation of having lots of issues of racism and misogyny in the workplace. I think the two are different enough that one can buy the blame and boycott Tesla without any hypocrisy.
I just set the track pad to be like a mouse and the R1 and R2 to be left and right click and it’s the best way to play it imo.
Because if you buy a laptop or something that has a 16 inch 4k screen the text will be nearly unreadable. Or some people have poor eyesight so want larger text while still being able to watch movies/play games in a higher res. It has tons of use cases, just because they don’t apply to you doesn’t mean it is useless.
