Coming soon from Amazon…
Gollum 2!
Once it told me that today’s answer was not located in the US, I had trouble thinking of non-American companies. Also, I really don’t know where a lot of companies are based out of. But, that’s a me problem. I like that because of the many different clues we get after each guess, it gives multiple avenues to reach the correct answer.
I’ll send this to my wife and we’ll add it to our daily games ritual. I’d like to try some more.

From what I’ve seen, The Stardew Valley crew is just chill and helpful.

It’s no less commercialized, and it’s not physical, but I’ve been playing Hearthstone for mostly free for over ten years. Plays like MTG, but faster, and implements a lot of randomization that’s near impossible to do with physical cards.

It does seem too cheap, and I think the deciding factor on whether it could survive would be the special promos included in the Premium package. Stuff like free game currency or skins. The whales would gladly pay the extra to cover the rest of our cheap asses if they can get some exclusive cosmetics.

Your plan structure suits me perfectly. Mostly because I wouldn’t want most of the DLCs. I’ll take the plus expansion, because it’s worth it at that price, and I might temporarily upgrade to the day 1s if something I’m really excited for comes out.
Other than that, I can do without.

I can’t help but wonder if this was a correction, or intentional sleight of hand.
If the last change never happened, and they just said the price goes up by $3 and COD is no longer included, would anyone be happy about that?
Same situation, but now we’re seeing it as a $7 price drop with no COD.
I might switch back to ultimate again, but not until there’s something in premium Gamepass that Im really interested in.
Just so everyone knows where I’m coming from, I do not enjoy racing games. I like being able to drive in games like GTA, but the racing missions are the worst part of those games.
That being said, I’ve always thought it would be neat to have a driving game with accurate real world cities.
You could just explore the open road, or maybe do a test run if you need to drive in a city you are unfamiliar with, or just drive like a maniac through your hometown doing all the things that would otherwise get you arrested.

I’m going to have to dig out my old farm so I can add Sandy and Clint to my farmer’s romantic conquests!

I feel you.
1 was fun, 2 was AMAZING, 3 was a disappointment, and 4, I finished the story and haven’t really touched it since.

Usually once I hit the end, I hold on to see if finishing the game opened up anything new to investigate.
Some games it’s hard to tell where “the end” is.
Borderlands 2 required finishing the story twice before you could BEGIN the end game.
As I get older, I care less about doing EVERYTHING.

Feels like the one year anniversary was just a few weeks ago.
Anyone who advertises their game as “non-gay” can fuck right off.

I’d say you’re definitely overthinking it. I’ll look at the high end achievements if I’ve finished a game I like, as that could point me towards things I may have missed during my initial playthrough, but other than that, I don’t think about them at all.
If I actually do 100% a major game (Like I did for Fallout New Vegas) I’m proud to have accomplished it, but I’m not losing sleep over the other 3000 unfinished titles I’ve played.

Sometimes it’s fun to compare to friends.
Unless…
a person cheats and gets them all

This is so stupid. I love it!

The only gamers that like remakes fall into one of these categories:
That’s my favorite game! I’d love to play it again!
Or
I didn’t get a chance to check it out the first time around, here’s my chance!
Same here. I did end up getting it because a friend wanted other people to play with, but come to think of it, I don’t think we ever played together once.
I got through the story and started on the other modes that were supposed to keep us hooked, but I was pretty much over it.
