Valve is pretty well liked. not sure you can really call them a games publisher any more though.

I used mine for a few months for work. only problem i had with it was it struggled with multiple external monitors. i got it working but i had to fiddle with xrandr everytime i docked it and put it into desktop mode

This was a couple years ago now though, it might be better now.

Fallout 5 is going to suck

I was getting stuttering on my server the other day but i think it was caused by mismatched client/server versions. When i upgraded the server to the latest release it went away

I also once completely destroyed the data in a db that wasn’t backed up for that same company while trying to restore from a dump (which was deleted as part of the script i was running).

Luckily both of these mistakes happened on staging servers so no one really cared. (prod is backed up though so if i did it there, not that i have access to prod, it also wouldn’t be catastrophic)

I tend to ignore the KDE notifications. i want something that will be on screen until i take certain mitigating actions
