If people keep buying it, they gonna keep doing it.
If people keep buying it, they gonna keep doing it.
Anyone who doesn’t play a game because it’s woke, has their head so far up the culture war ass, they have lost all reason.
It’s also the same people where the message behind more subtle media is lost on them. Starship troopers, for example.
As someone who hasn’t played wow in almost a decade, it looks exactly like I remember it.
This is what happens when you try to develop as a triple a studio against trends. By the time your game comes out, you are too late to the grift.
Certainly no underlying political message.
Totally a bug to show ads, and not an attempt to see what they can get away with and then lie when there is a negative reaction.

Capitalism
I don’t understand what people were expecting this is an Ubisoft game, they are always mediocre trash.
I have some games on GOG. It’s fine.
I would love to see reasonable competition to steam which would give consumers and developers better options, but Epic ain’t it

Lemmy is small enough and growing that if you want a community and it doesn’t exist, you should start it. Since it will be small the amount of moderation would be reasonable even for a part time user. As the community grows and if you no longer want to mod it, you can hand it off, but, start it none the less.
What?
Ask your mom if you can have friends over to play this weekend.
