Yeah sharing discs is one of the few benefits of console, I was pissed when most of the games I bought were redemption codes. I’ll never buy another console again after the accelerated enshittification of the companies who own them.

The ps5 that comes with a disc drive is useless, as the “physical” copies of games are just empty cases with redemption codes inside.

Or you could download an emulator and play on a 10 year old laptop on a big screen tv.
