I have a huge problem with AI bcz of it’s environmental impacts, intellectual property violations, job impacts, attempts to replace all employees with AI, the general dumbing down of society and worse off the internet is bcz of AI, the surveillance state being built around it. I could go on, but you get the point. I am a staunch, no AI person bcz of all those reasons and a hundred more.

I tried stoat, but I couldn’t create the same community that I had on Discord that I had set up, so I haven’t tried to move everything there. Honestly, if there was a Discord alternative that functioned similar, I would move there tomorrow, but there really isn’t. And there’s no easy way to mirror the content from Discord to the other place so people can see the activity.

Well, I’m hosting the jam, lol. Just a different username. I can’t police AI code bcz I don’t get to see the source code. but I can at least reasonably tell if something is AI art slop. It’s the best I can do really. There is a checkbook for AI disclosure now, which I’ve excluded entirely, so if you disclose AI at all in your project, it cannot be submitted to this jam. That’s about all I can do.
