I find female V is always overacting. Every time she says something whatever emotion it needs to be is at 110% so when that emotion needs to flip from line to line or even in the same line it’s like tonal whiplash.
Never played male V so don’t know the comparison, but female Vs line delivery makes me cringe constantly.
That’s why they said !2B. He never it into a Shakespeare joke.
To be or not to be
It has 256gb of ram. I don’t remember to CPU power but it has 2.
I want to do self hosted storage, currently have 12-16tb (I’ve forgotten which). I’ll also want to have other services running. Like game servers or things like immich and jellyfin. I’ll also want to have something for git and probably Jenkins (or similar), then also a place to host anything I create that needs hosting.
When i asked where to begin with such a server, pretty much all of the responses were to go with proxmox. I’m not a fan that it’s nagware though so I’m open to other suggestions.
I have a big super micro server i was given a while back but have yet to set it up. I was going to put proxmox on it. Would you recommend yuno over that?
Road Trip Adventure is one of my favourite racing games. It’s like Disney cars before then. You get to drive around a world doing side quests outside of races.
Driving can feel clunky and it feels really bad in the beginning, but most of it is due to the fact you start off with bad parts. As you upgrade your car the game starts to feel better and better as it goes on. Eventually you get parts to fly and go under water.
…
Also when it comes to final fantasy, there is no one place to start, each game unless a direct sequel (like X-2) they are all completely standalone. None of them are in the same world or universe. They share similar themes but that’s it.
So it does the earliest episode of one podcast, then the earliest of another and so on. That’s what I mean. So it’s not just all episodes sorted by date because then any recent podcast with less episodes of an older one will not appear in the playlist for ages
I fall asleep to podcasts (to help with tinnitus) the one thing that’s stopping me from going from my current podcast app is the ability to make a playlist and automatically sort the playlist so it alternates between podcasts starting with oldest episodes to the newest. Is that a feature with this? If not i might have to dip into some FOSS programming again when i get the time ;p
My recommendations for starter OSs are bazzite if you really only care about gaming. Mint if you want a more general pc, and to learn more about standard linux-ey stuff
Touch screen cast would be awesome too. I’d love for there to either be that or an open android auto/car play standard. The former would probably be easier and I imagine some aftermarket head units have that functionality already.
I’ve actually wanted to DIY a head unit at some point and getting a good satnav experience on it would be key to it being a daily DRIVER.
It’s just good in those moments where things have fucked up for some reason and you can either quickly stop at the side and easily deal with it on the head unit or if there’s no traffic around you can slow down and touch the buttons you need to bit by bit while keeping an eye on the road. Or, even better, if you have a co-driver they can sort it for you on a screen that both you and them are able to deal with.
Built in gps is a bit shit now and my current car actually doesn’t have one unless i buy an overpriced encrypted sd card with the map data that if i want to update the maps for, have to buy again.
Phones and their map apps allow me to have up to date mapping that also show where there’s roadworks and closures so i can be rerouted elsewhere which is a godsend when you’re in a town or city you’re not familiar with.
Edit: built in now may not be shitter than it was but it is shitter than the new alternatives via android auto (i also don’t use Google maps by the way)
It became so convenient and essential for me like 8 years ago. When I leave the house I only need my tiny phone and my house key (and sometimes my car key) and that’s it. That’s nice. I don’t want to have to carry more on top of what I already do.
I’m 31 and would need those things. Makes driving a car how I want much easier. No awkward looking mounts anywhere. Plus I use a super tiny android phone at the moment so instead of looking at a postage stamp for a map I get to look at the big head unit.
Wouldn’t it be pronounced like fury not furry?
You can’t choose a specific playlist or album over Bluetooth via the head unit is what they were saying. And with the maps some people don’t like to have the voice on and prefer to actually be able to glance at a map when needed, on the head unit.
20XX onwards in desktop version is fine. I’ve only heard issues when using gaming mode on the HTPC version, and even then i think it’s just inside the gamescope steam menu it’s shit, in games it’s just fine, no difference.
Is there a cfw yet or other homebrew? Or we just at the start and they’ve just found the door in so far?
I never said it was small haha. I did say it was big.
I never planned to get a server like this initially. Just the perks of having a partner working in IT for a school that’s decommissioning old tech since they’re outsourcing some stuff soon.
