The company I work for does B2B and clients do the same shit. 45-90 day pay cycle after invoicing. That shit kills smaller businesses.

I’d been using linux for work for a couple years and it was going fine. I had a pretty crappy laptop at home with limited storage and I was constantly wrestling with Windows storing update stuff, installing adware during updates, etc.
I’d heard of proton and about how well it was going with it, so I had an idea linux gaming was possible.
Eventually something happened during a windows update that required I reinstall the OS and I just pulled out the flash drive I used to install linux on my work machine and tried it out. Eventually I did have to dual boot (on a bigger drive) for some games, but nowadays I’m all linux everywhere.
What? Isn’t this a common W for steam? This seems like a good thing to me.
I just beat this guy. Walked in with a colossal hammer and pancaked him. Took two tries because the first time I didn’t realize he didn’t turn into the fat one, but it was a summon instead.
I don’t really have much advice, really. Run sideways towards him when he spams projectiles, dodge into the big projectile, ignore his summons since your big hammer will hit them too anyway.
It definitely shows some bosses we haven’t seen before, and the narration hints at what the story might be, or at least the surface level that represents this character’s narrative. For the most part, it’s a bit like watching the original release trailer.
You don’t need to watch it to know, it is fucking epic. I am hyped beyond all measure. We are so fucking back.
Isn’t this a free update that comes at the same time as the dlc?
I have an Nvidia GPU and aside from the occasional lemon of a driver, I’ve had no issues (to be sure, I don’t use Wayland). I play games through Proton just fine. MHW, Elden Ring, Hunt Showdown, BG3, etc. Unfortunately the games he picked are borked or not listed on protondb. Not sure about Minecraft though, I used to play that just fine.
I’ll see if I can enable it in Discover and run updates through that. Thanks for the tip.
Does that have auto updates? It’s kind of annoying to download debs every week.
I’m not super well versed, I’m a Linux casual.
The discord snap is basically unusable for me so that’s the only way I can have discord installed. I’ll probably switch away from kubuntu next time if it inherited this problem.
I’m a developer. It’s work to do anything, code doesn’t grow on the LLM tree yet. That’s a feature that would have to be implemented. Anything you ask the business to put effort in is a negative to the cause (and the cause is good), something for the businesses to latch onto to stop the law from changing.
The best argument you can make is ‘let us figure it out, just don’t sue us’. Anything else you get is a blessing.
I don’t really expect a business to be forced to run a game in perpetuity, but at least they shouldn’t be allowed to C&D you from doing it if they aren’t.
Do kids movies have to be stupid and vapid? This looks completely soulless.
