Shit, you’re right!
Just a guy. Just a fella. Subject to say silly stuff.
Shit, you’re right!
I second this opinion. The parties responsible absolutely need to be held accountable but due to the severe nature of the crime you absolutely have to protect yourself.
My devices are cringely named after songs in Haken’s discography.
Desktop is MESSIAH. Laptop is AFFINITY. Phone is NIGHTINGALE. Steam Deck is SHAPESHIFTER. Router (and its WAP) is PORTALS. My NAS is the only one that falls outside of this, it’s generically (last name)NetNAS. I should rename it, but I don’t want to break anything 😅
Eta: changed my NAS’ hostname is ARCHITECT. Nothing broke! Yay for me.
I just got a deck last week and I’m loving it so far. Been playing Castle Crashers again (here’s hoping the new update comes out soon!) as well as Baldur’s Gate 3 with my wife, which runs incredibly well surprisingly.
I’ve been playing since the last round of beta invites, and I love it. Everything’s pretty intuitive so far, and I find myself moving around more to give me those steps. Can’t wait to see what comes next!!
I wish I could do this in real life. I’ve seen two in my city and they’re visually arresting.
This is the real deal…
Basically, yeah. If your game is in a playable state, launching in early access allows devs to get feedback from the community, who help shape the game all the way to the full release. Generally EA games are discounted, with the expectation that it isn’t finished or polished, full of bugs, etc.
I had a similar experience on my laptop. I tried Ubuntu which broke after trying to throw on Nvidia drivers (using the official docs). I tried Mint and Debian, both of which couldn’t detect my laptop’s wifi card (after hours of trying to fix - apparently a common issue but the fixes did not work for me!). I landed on Fedora, worked great. I’m now on EndeavourOS, but Fedora was the stepping stone I needed.
My desktop I built recently is Bazzite, which is Fedora based and I love it.
One of my all time favorite games from a wonderful developer. Haley, my beloved.
Bazzite Linux running KDE Plasma 6. It’s a wonderful distro based on Fedora 40 (I think, still kinda new) and it’s made for gaming.
I’ve got to +1 to Bazzite. I had tons of issues with Debian and its derivatives, but Bazzite works flawlessly out of the box. I use an AMD GPU but it has out-of-box support for Nvidia, I hear.
Sorry this isn’t an answer to your problem. I had similar issues when toying with Debian and Linux Mint on my laptop (Nvidia GPU). Ultimately I gave up and put EndeavourOS on it, which worked perfectly as well.
This looks rad! I love gamifying life 😅
Signed up, and I hope to support this soon! I wish the development process well!
A community manager in HD2 Discord has said that the mandatory account linking is a Sony directive.
It appears that Steam had delisted the game in countries that PSN is not available in.
Thank you for your reply and information!
I anticipate switching to a full Linux setup once I build my new PC, hopefully later this year. I can’t see myself even unwillingly buying pirating buying Windows.
Any tips for when that day comes?
This is where I’m at: a Synology running a few services like Plex for my family and friends. I’m hoping to learn more and help us all move from walled gardens even further. Some of Synology’s software can feel a little clunky to use but generally I’ve found it to work great despite my limited knowledge.
