Look for the modpack Additive It’s based on Fabric with some great mods oriented towards speed and QOL which replace OptiFine in one package.

Open sourcing this means manufacturers have easy access to the device’s form factor to create an ecosystem of accessories. People still need to buy the laptop. It makes perfect sense.
6·7 months agoApple tried to replace it with Lightning connector. They even were selling EarPods with a Lightning connector. Obviously it was a total disaster.
1·8 months agoThe big difference is that old games run on the same hardware with no OS or no new updates to the OS. Droid is supposed to work with new phones on constantly updated OS. It’s just like it’s OK for a CNC machine to work with floppy disks since it’s not a connected device that needs to work with new hardware/software to function.
