Do you know what actually I mean by sabotage? No, I don’t mean hack them or anything like that, I just mean interfere with them because, non profit or not, what they’re doing with AI is totally unethical and prejudicial

I’m just a random weeb. I love anime, dubstep, science, philosophy, logic and tech all along.
PS: English isn’t my native language, so sorry if I mispell some things, please kindly point it to me.

Yeah. I think we should seriously start organizing to create a Linux fork free of all that AI slop shit. It’s a huge task, but a really necessary one.

So I’m going quitting Debian. Not only quitting it, but I’m seriously considering starting to actively boycott and sabotage them. I know that I may not achieve any big change on my own, or even if I had collaborators, but at least I will know that I was on the right side of history.

THIS, THIS, THIS
Basically, a nirvana fallacy/perfect solution fallacy.
Yes, macOS should also count

Yes, but the fact is that FLOSS projects are supposed to have, or should have, strong moral codes that favor the emancipation of people who are below everything, freedom and the improvement of everyone’s conditions through a philosophy of sharing and, especially, respecting people’s autonomy, freedom of choice and personal fulfillment. And those same people who work on open source projects, often for free, also need to figure out how to put food on their tables so they don’t starve, and AI is constantly making that basic need impossible to achieve.

GNOME inheritor, at the end

No, AI just can be harmful.
Read this
TL;DR: AI is just a works-stealing machine that makes code less secure and displaces people of their works (or removes their opportunities to get a job).

Yeah, nowadays everything is sealed with Premium Vibranium Super-Ultra-Hiperglue™©® and you can only repair anything if you pay more than even just buying a new one. It’s diabolic.
Also, programmed obsolescence it’s actually a thing. Here’s high quality bibliography about it:

And it kills all the performance… And the security, and the privacy, as everything needs to fucking call home to be able to work.
And, why the fuck would you build over Electron or Tauri? That’s just being retarded, desktop apps should be done with actual native graphic toolkits, not that fucking performance, resources, space, security and privacity that “hybrid frameworks” are.

If it were at least ChromiunOS…

Oh, I’m so sorry, I just reread it and realized I misunderstood what you said.
I noticed that I isolated the first part of your comment and overlooked the subordinating conditional clause below it, which led me to commit a straw man fallacy driven by a selection bias.
That said, I have to point out that your initial statement still relied on a composition and a generalization fallacy —even though you didn’t explicitly claim that all pedophiles are offenders— by stating in a blanket way that all pedophiles should kill themselves due to the actions of a minority of them.
I think this mutual oversight was the root of the misunderstanding, and again, I apologize for my part in it.
I hope this helps both of us have better interactions in the future.

No, I shouldn’t. Now that I’m proving my point you don’t want to read? Fucking coward.

Yeah, just as these mononeuronal dumbasses that replied me with their bullshit

Yeah, and I’m not saying or implying that he’s not in his right to think or say that, I’m just exercising my fucking right to respond to him and criticize his position with fundamentals. After all, by saying that something is intrinsically bad, you are at the same time making a normative statement about what you think it should be; and that normative statement something I disagree with because, if it is done and / or made law, it contravenes freedom of expression; and I can name examples of real life, such as my own country (Venezuela), or others like Argentina (both before Milei and with Milei), Russia, Ukraine, the United States, Canada, Australia, China, Spain, NorKorea, etc., where that, for having been included in the law, has caused very serious human rights problems. And I know it may seem like I’m doing a slippery slope fallacy, but no, because the problem is, who decides the cutting point? Who decides where the limits of what can and cannot be said? Any limit is arbitrary and as such any attempt to regulate it is also arbitrary and highly prone to totalitarianism, populism and chauvinism, just as in these countries (which, curiously, have also started with seemingly innocent things like this); think, it is the same as with the EU’s anti-privacy movements; the declared objective is, in principle, commendable, but once they already have the legal infrastructure, they just have to change the objective to something absolutely unacceptable (like quiet dissidents) and we can do nothing. Like this or more fucking clear?

Yeah, I think I should have been more specific.

I’ll copy-paste because I essentially got the same response before 😅
Yeah, but piracy exists. If it didn’t existed, I wouldn’t consume those works either, I can give you that point, but you can simply pirate.
And yeah, I understand all about the bad taste, it happened with two musicians I liked a lot that were groomers and all that, and another 9ne that sexually abused a partner of him, and now I can’t hear their songs because I feel uncomfortable. It’s ok and normal. The whole point is that it’s still personal and I won’t be policing anyone who still listens to them, and I still listen other artists that did such things because I didn’t felt such a emotional connection with these.
Tbh, I’ll admit that I focused it wrong, the thing I actually hate are those moral policers and SJW that cancel people like a sport.
There are ways to enforce it. Yeah, you won’t be able to make everyone follow the rule, but it’s the same with any law and any public policy and they’re still valuable. You don’t make campaigns against DUI because you expect everyone to stop doing it, as that’s a nirvana fallacy, you make them because you expect them to reduce DUI.
