I’m so glad you linked this because it was my first thought as well and I was like damn I am going to struggle to find that haha
Hey I have one of these case sensitive Mac OS X stories as well!
I gave it a try one time, and I found out the hard way some developers don’t test everything in a case sensitive environment. I don’t remember what specifically went wrong, but Adium, The instant messaging client, blew up because it couldn’t find certain files on the local hard drive.
Here’s the original in higher quality and less cropping: https://i.imgur.com/XzgU9AS.mp4
The watermark in the bottom right corner says KLING AI 1.6
Maybe not in your country. I literally just checked on the American store and it’s still included with the Valve Index.
They even give you a free copy of Half-Life Alyx if you buy a pair of knuckles controllers for $279.
It’s free if you buy an Index
DayZ Standalone for you as well?
This would be amazing! I’m currently testing the waters on Manjaro having only ever used Ubuntu years ago in college, and currently the abysmal VR support is preventing me from switching over full time.
Would you happen to know if there is a different Linux distro I should be using for better VR support or are they all equally screwed right now?
The lack of asynchronous reprojection is nausea central for me. I read you can use a super old version of steam VR, which has an older worse form of reprojection that works, but I haven’t looked into it further.
What a blast from the past! It’s the, “Well isn’t that cute, but it’s wrong!” guy from two stupid dogs: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hspNaoxzNbs
The same composer worked on both as well
It’s only awful if you’re achievement hunting and trying to drive the god damn gnome through the level without it flinging off into space and being lost forever
You play the dark green level 235 for 800 lines. Normally levels are only 10 lines
I loved Project Gotham Racing because it rode the line between arcade game and simulator quite nicely. I haven’t seen anything like it since.
This is how I keep seeing option 1 where the longer line is a chin/fat roll 😅
It might have only even been like six months. It was in the little change log pop up during one of the updates at some point
Just to be clear, I 100% think they are selling our data. What I meant was I’m surprised they’re concerned about the size of the uploads when they could just be selling the uploaded data.
Well that didn’t last very long. It was 8 MB for like six years and then it just went to 25 MB maybe a year ago and now we’re back down to 10 MB.
I’m surprised they aren’t offsetting the cost by selling all our data to language learning models like everyone else is
I’ve got one more to add to your list, and I hate it, but it’s worth mentioning: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungarian_notation
It’s when the data type is in the name of the variable.
Just throwing this out there, you can open the video and expand the description and there is a button you can click on to view the transcript of the video and then you can just copy that out into a text editor or read it right there
