I don’t actually remember too well, there were some ui bugs that I remember but I haven’t used element in a year at least so I’ve kind of forgotten
Element can be a bit unreliable when it comes to matrix features, I recommend cinny instead
cool!
Anyone is free to develop an app that can do this
They are really good budget phones with a rare focus on standing out visually, but not this phone
streamrip
for ripping music from streaming services
I guess in your case that’s true. It probably depends on how the device is set up a bit.
In practice, it isn’t trivial to use android as a computer like you would in a linux-based system, installing desktop apps and stuff. It’s definitely doable, but although one of based on the other they are very different systems in day-to-day use.
One warning for Boox, although I definitely reccomend the device, the first-party support can be lackluster, so if you’re in a country where BOOX is on Amazon I would reccomend buying through there since Amazon has a better returns service.
I went through that guide and just disabling secure boot worked for me! Thanks so much!
I have the boox note air 4c, and it is really great for taking notes. It is kaliedo color, which is great for me but you can also get a black and white version which has better contrast. The notes app is all around pretty great, although it isn’t well optimised for art of that’s your thing. It also runs android so you can get a ton of functionality from installing apps onto it. I use localsend in particular to share files to and from the device, and obsidian for text-based notes.
And not great high-end graphics performance
And the battery life
I hate how dell has restructured their product lines recently. It’s very unintelligible now.
Thanks, hopefully my experience is similar. I think the 5000 series came out less than a month ago as well, so it might also take some time for me.
Pretty sure Fedora can do that too, you just have to select the option in the installer
Good specific experience to know, thanks. Basically the only game I do care about is Minecraft, so as long as I do get that working, I’ll be fine.
Lawnchair is great
