I wonder if Taylor will at some point get an account on bluesky.

Is there anything that doesn’t run linux lol?
How many hoops (if any) did you have to jump through to install?
Yeah there there’s been some unique Android keyboards over the years. 8pen, fleksy, to name a couple.
It’s a shame that the creators of minuum didn’t open source the code when they went out of business.
I’m currently using florisboard and like it.
My all time favorite android keyboard was the now defunct minuum. It had really good autocorrect and I got to the point where I could touch type fairly quickly with it. Also because of the way it was designed didn’t take up half the screen. Even though I really liked it I eventually stopped using it because I started to care more about my privacy and FLOSS.

The video doesn’t show it but you could expand the keyboard to regular size if you needed to type something specific.
Brotato, hocus pocus.
Linux is great for reserecting old hardware! I had an old gaming pc I built back in 2009 (had to replace graphics card) onto which I installed guix. Now I have a raid 1 store, samba network share, and jellyfin server!
Oh that sucks.
It really seems like the future or some variation of it.
True, then I’d be screwed. But, because my system config is declared in a single file (plus a file for channels) i could re-install my system and be back in business relatively quickly. There’s also guix home but I haven’t had a chance to try that.
Me too. Additionally, I use guix so if a system update ever broke my machine I can just rollback to a prior system version (either via the command line or grub menu).
Living my best life with Guix!
I’ve had a similar experience with Guix.
More like: Looks Cool
Versus how it is now: Looks cool
or if you have a shit ton of tabs open: lo… co…
That’s badass!
I the portability of the steamdeck. Years ago I had a desktop gaming PC that over time I used less and less because the lass thing I wanted to do after sitting at a desk all day was to sit at a desk some more.
I bring my deck with me when I travel for work, go on vacation, when my wife and I spend the afternoon at my parents. I’ll even bring it with me if I have to bring my car to the shop and I have to wait. I play games in my recliner, and in bed. I’ve never been a frame rate snob so the steamdeck suits me just fine.
I donate to a few things (eff, fsf, Mozilla, kvaesitso, my Lemmy instance, tasks.org) but want to donate to more (guix, keepassdx, syncthing, eternity, maybe some others).
