I highly doubt there would be one. I imagine entire optics engineering departments are deployed to write that software. Phone manufacturers don’t usually write that software either; it’s more often than not licensed.
Fun fact, Sony’s phones break the camera software if you root them. I wonder how much of it is to protect their blobs.
I bought a 1+15 and returned it within my return window when the rumors started. It’s such a shame, because it was a really good phone. Only thing it’s missing is UWB and US mmWave.

Ask your local university facilities department about their overstock policy. The university of Arizona literally has a warehouse where you can peruse their old computers and furniture and buy at Craigslist prices.
I guarantee you that there’ll be a no-steam driver for this in a matter of months.
Make consumers extremely aware of the taxes they pay so that anytime reducing taxes on the rich comes up they think “yeah, I hate taxes, let’s lower them!”
This is the answer.
American prices reflect the lower purchasing power within the US interior because pricing has to be the same across state lines (because otherwise people would take advantage of state discounts, similar to how people take advantage of the no-VAT states). The US even has programs where banks give free money (usually 100-300$) to open accounts in order to incentivize people to spend and churn their financial institutions.
A huge chunk of the American economy is predicated on uneducated people being goaded into overspending by giving them extra money they think they can spend on non-necessities. For example: a bank gives you 100$ for opening an account, so you buy a 150$ sofa using their credit card, predicated on the fact that sofa purchase wouldn’t’ve occurred without the stimulus. Because financial literacy is so low in the US, the bank makes a net profit because a large enough cohort of credit users won’t pay their balances at the end of the month and end up paying 25% interest (which is roughly the interest charged on these credit cards).
I’m lower middle class, and I absolutely take advantage of my vacation times to fly to or near VAT-free states to buy big ticket electronics and similar. If I could stack that and fly to Montana for no VAT and “poor state” pricing, I absolutely would.
Just keep in mind, the better cell carrier heavily depends on where you are. Verizon in Tucson is the worst cell provider, and T-Mobile has been better than AT&T overall (except in the desert).

I saw this and immediately wishlisted it. It’s got quite a timeless quality to it. I’m happy to see this and things like cuphead were so well received.
They’re trying to realign tech and software developers from the cool, relaxed, high paid jobs of a decade ago to more “modern” (read: exploited) standards of work.
Localsend is my preferred open source alternative! Only downside is that it’s local network only. AirDrop works without WiFi, which is ideal in most spontaneous situations.
Not only that, it was last year’s snapdragon, so not even the current gen processor. At least for me, I’d absolutely never buy a premium device without the latest processor lmao.

After watching some playthroughs, I can comfortably say that this game is awful. That said, I don’t like 2D fighters, but this would absolutely not make me want to play one.
The queue-room idea was pretty cool as a concept though.
It looks cheap and as if it’s designed for super low end hardware that can’t handle blur effects. I can’t wait for the Android integration features to get poached and put into Linux though.
