Dude, why do half the Indian YouTubers sound like mumble rappers. Hell, they’re better than me because they probably speak 3+ languages, but they can’t think it’s good for their viewership.

Privacy online is no more than an illusion with modern computing.
Tensor 5 benchmarks at around what the S21 scores.
Even in the used market, you’d be foolish to not buy a used s24 or OP12
It all makes sense why Google was pivoting to a lifestyle brand in its keynote… they will never make it with the performance-forward demographic with current trends, so they have to attract other buyers. I really hope this is the worst year for the pixel line, because it is just flatly unacceptable what they’re pushing performance wise.
The pixel 10 comes with an SOC that benchmarks roughly the same as a Galaxy S21. You’re literally buying a phone at full price to downgrade if your phone is newer than that (as far as anyone else is concerned)
Nothing probably has the better processor, so go with that. They’re already underpowered as it is.
Something immutable with VNC for tech support
On #3: I totally wouldn’t mind defaults that could be overridden later, or better yet, a wizard that gives you a bunch of options and source material for making an elective decision for something else.
Proton for everything would be pretty heavy though. I’m referring to user facing APIs that could be made consistent.
Linux needs a shared API framework for all desktop apps for them to succeed. It’s ridiculous that gnome apps and other apps look different and have different theming conventions. I’d love to get into theming and application building, but I’m so afraid that I’ll waste my time on something that won’t apply to everything. macOS solved application cohesion perfectly.
Yeah, that’s what works when it happens to me.
Have you tried power cycling your car? I don’t have AA, but I have a similar issue with CarPlay where once in a while there’s no sound (wired or wireless). The only way I can fix it is to completely power cycle the vehicle.
They really put themselves in an awkward position with the Watch Ultra… they had to discontinue the classic 1.5” display option to not draw sales away from the ultra… when they could’ve just given the ultra the rotating bezel or Digital Crown in the first place.
I’m definitely keeping my eye out for Oneplus. Problem I had with them before though was that their UI was too flat and lacked transparent flourishes. That should change with iOS 26…
Also, why is the one plus pad so small…? Their ecosystem needs to be more feature aggressive.
Google needs to get their shit together and put an actually competitive chip in their phones. I’m not buying a late cycle phone with a tensor processor that can’t even match the current snapdragon or A-series.
Portal 1 & 2. Far too short.
I assume California was the first to change
Nope, that designation goes to Massachusetts. First gay marriages occurred in 2004 and never had a prop 8 pass as late as 2008. California was a red state, redder than Florida is now, until very recently. California is a relatively recent leftward shift.
I’m from north Boston (the hood). Manhattan, especially Central Park and lower, is the safest I’ve ever felt in a major city. Nearby Brooklyn and Queens were the same. No one visits Staten Island. BX and Harlem aren’t for everyone.
I was under the impression that one could force these to be themed, is that inaccurate? KDE Fedora btw.
