Nooo! It was my main browser since they added extensions. While I also have Firefox installed, a chromium browser is still necessary because sites still prioritize that engine. And I am not gonna install edge or Samsung browser on my phone. Hoping for a community edition soon.

1·4 months agoI don’t understand the question fully, but if you want to play a game with a complex mythological pantheon that affect gameplay based on who you worship, interact and fight with gods, aid someone into become an ultimate god, or become a god yourself, I’d highly recommend the rpg maker game fear and hunger 1 and F&H 2 : termina. I reckon the extreme difficulty isn’t for everybody tho.
51·4 months agoI haven’t checked progress in TTS tech for months (probably several revolutionary evolutions have happened since then), but try Coqui xttsv2.
I actually enjoy retro gaming. Earthbound and mother 3 are my favorite games! The professor Layton serie is also great! The thing is, while retro games are a huge source of “free” games, they’re often too hard. I also found myself falling in a rabbit hole with an entire generation of retro games that nobody cares about anymore despite being full of great games : flip phone java games" (j2me). I highly recommend trying them if you want to play games on your phone without being thrown a billion ad and microtransactions. Just play the touchscreen variants and your golden. Some good games are : doom RPG 2 and Wolfenstein RPG, literally any game by digital chocolate.

The only way I can access games is by pirating them and I don’t pirate indie games unless they already pretty successful and it wouldn’t hurt them. Yeah, even that 2.99$ is too much when you live in shitty third world country.
Tried braid and got bored real quick.
Tried fez and didn’t even continue past the first 30 min
Tried Undertale, but basically knew the story already from spoilers, and it was kinda boring, uninteresting and too hard.
Played Crashlands and it was a grindfest that actually made me relieved that I finished the game, only to discover it was planet 1 of 3. 👉Uninstalled.
Really enjoyed fear and hunger despite being shit at the game and ended up just cheating. (Was still freaking hard 😭)
Finished and enjoyed Limbo.
I just want a game with a great story, a gameplay with medium low difficulty that isn’t a grindfest and isn’t too long ( usually caused by the endless grinding).

Let’s be honest, much like how any nuclear advancement is highly controlled and any country that dabbles in it is drowned in sanctions, USA would certainly bully any country that would replicate it without their consent and “friendly countries” would have a huge discount in licensing costs.
I remember watching a clip from syfy b-movie where a dude is in awe in front of a small fusion power plant and vaguely remember him talking about a war caused by USA gatekeeping other countries from this unlimited clean source of energy by abusing copyright or something like that.
For them to peggy back of a competitor work would be a bold and very risky move.

If you guys like hiking and stuff, there’s this cool open source app called trail sense on f-droid and it’s just so much feature packed…
I don’t hike, so I only use it for it’s pedometer capabilities and a hypothetical situation where “I might get really lost” but the amount of features it has for hiking and survival is crazy and so I think deserves to be more known.
My fucking dumbass created a keyloger in python in a few hours by exploiting a unfixed bug in windows 10 and it took 3 days for windows defender to flag it as a virus.
My PC with 4GB of RAM and an HDD is barely holding with linux mint. Tbf Mint isn’t the problem, it only takes 32% of ram compared to the 60+% of a debloated windows 10. It’s the other apps. Running a browser along anything else and Linux mint starts to struggle, even the built-in apps like the file manager and the text editor feel like they’re gonna crash the computer at any moment because of the random freezing/ delays.
My advice would be to try upgrading to 4GB and installing an SSD. Your old computer will likely only support SATA SSDs, which have a max speed of 500MB/s, but it’s far better than the 30MB/s at best that the HDD disks give.
