Well fuck. A lot of the OG decks are getting into battery replacement time, this is unfortunate if they really are discontinuing parts. I can’t blame valve to stop producing the older hardware but hopefully ifixit can work with them to line up reputable third party suppliers.

The public site is the first impression and introduction of a product, and this one has all sorts of slop signs around it. You can see how that can make someone skeptical to the quality of application. I don’t agree “computers can do it better” - I’d prefer a plain old website that gets to the point over one showing useless graphics, generated text, and non-functional interactions.
I appreciate the candidness. Hopefully you can understand AI presentation generally implies an AI product, and without source code to audit, it raises some flags. Clarity of where AI is used as you’ve done here helps.
You can at least admit the marketing site is AI, yes?
I hardly even count those, both were in development way before MS scooped up the studios. Looking back most games they’ve released were either previously announced by the studio, or at least deep in development.
Indiana Jones, HiFi Rush and Avowed come to mind as games likely developed under MS by acquired studios, but not too much else. It’s a shame to see.
They gotta be good at making games for that to work… They collected top AAA studios like infinity stones but can’t figure out how to put them together.

Depends how long competitors can keep their prices in that range. I assume lenovo have some economy of scale in their favor, but I think they’ll eventually be priced up and out too.
Protip, anything you want, just in general - get it “now”. Especially if you’re in the US, there will never be a better time. We’ve not yet begun to feel the supply chain impacts from Iran. Shit’s fucked, it’s not slowing down, and there’s no wand that can wave to fix it.

Any changes to Jellyfin Premium+ One Super Unlimited (without Ads) this time? They just doubled it last year, if it goes any higher I’m out. I’m not gonna watch ads.
I have 25 hours into this, all on steam deck. Works well enough for me already, but more support is always good!

Valve has said repeatedly they won’t subsidize it heavily because it’s more of a generic desktop than the deck was. A low subsidized price could attract buyers that wouldn’t spend money on games (ie. using for office machines)
Sure we have specialized machines but the sorting machine can’t be reassigned to start packing outbound or unloading trucks as demand changes. The value is that sorting wouldn’t be the only thing it does.
