  • Absolutely. I also loved infection on that one map that’s in the same world as the forge map, it’s like a floating level over water. Can’t remember the name now, it’s been years. Then there’s also a good one that’s all indoors, sort of a fancy human building, maybe corporate or hotel originally, I can’t remember now.

Then Alexandria was awesome, there was a super cheesy spot you could get to there. Oh and then there was an outdoors map with sort of a circular building in the middle of the map, that was great for infection too. Oh and then another indoor one, all grey walls, small outdoor area where you could fall to your death.

Now that I think of it, I think I just loved that game altogether. Damn now I’m nostalgic.

  • CE probably has my favourite campaign (both solo and co-op), but for PvP it’s definitely Reach for me. It’s also the one I’ve got the most time in by far.

I didn’t get much into Halo 3 for some reason, I’m not sure why. Aside from the campaign, I mostly just stuck with Halo 2 until Reach came out. I was also getting into CoD a bit between playing 2 and Reach so that also sucked some time out of 3. Then after Reach I got super into Battlefield 4 and that was my main PvP without friends but with friends I still mostly played Reach until my friends moved on from it. Now I almost exclusively play single player games, with the exception of one friend who I’ll sometimes play NHL with.

  • Starfield got a lot of hate, some of it well deserved, but I still enjoyed my time with it. I put maybe 60 hours into it, which to me is a long time for a game, so maybe my expectations are low, but I’ve got a family now so I don’t have the time I used to for video games. I’ll probably replay Starfield in the next couple years. It’s not a perfect RPG by a long shot but if you’re okay with a mostly linear game, and don’t mind loading screens, I’d say it’s worth it. It sort of reminded me of Fallout 4 a bit, in that the gameplay is well polished, but for an RPG it’s quite linear, only a couple good side quests (factions mainly) and most of the effort was put into a few aspects while lots of the world feels a little empty. Starfield takes it a bit further than Fallout 4, and I’d say Fallout 4 is a better game than Starfield, but you get the idea.
