MICROSOFT cut off support for windows 7. Is steam supposed to continue support for the entire OS?

That’s pretty much the point. The steam deck was a huge success, but the only reason it could exist and be such a success was because they had the freedom to do what they liked and not worry about management with attitudes like yours.
Good thing you weren’t working at steam, huh.
What’s with all the recent articles whitewashing Denuvo?
Steam DRM doesn’t have quite the same history of maliciousness towards end users that Denuvo does
It’s also got more attention and care to detail than any 3 other AAA games combined. At this point, AAA is not a compliment to a game
To be clear, my version of OG blizzard is from the 90s when they were one of the first companies to provide spawn installs. Cosby suite is way past their peak and into their period of decline.
Let me know when the ghost of OG blizzard returns.
It accumulates
Then they can join the list of ‘AAA’ game publishers that have had to eat crow and (re)release on steam after their own launchers flopped horribly.
Yeah, imagine if steam could implement a setting so that you could only see these games if you enabled said setting. Oh, wait…
There’ll be nothing to get adjusted to if they continue to insist on Denuvo
The only people willing to put up with EGS’ crappy performance are (a subset of) windows users
They did. Support was discontinued from the start of 2024. That you’ve been using it up to now without any problems is literally because they didn’t break anything on purpose. As long as none of the software changes it will continue to work.
