I guess it depends on your library size and how many users you are serving. My plex server has a library of over 110 TB and over 60 users, so to me a rack mount server for Jellyfin alone doesn’t sound overkill at all
Wait so you have like rack mounted server but only run jellyfin?
What would be wrong with that?
Then maybe you aren’t qualified to call something difficult to self-host, because those instructions are very basic
Not sure how you came to that conclusion, Reddits search function is notoriously terrible
Don’t forget the people using Rider
There are dozens of us, dozens
Yeah, the only caveat is that you don’t get an installer with steam, so if you copy the installed game onto a pc that doesn’t have all the correct dependencies installed (like the correct DirectX version for example), then the game won’t launch. But it’s not too complicated to install the dependencies manually
Same thing applies to Steam. You don’t need to use the Steam DRM if you don’t want to, it gets added by the developers/publishers. There are plenty of DRM-free games on Steam
No one forces you to buy from them, they are providing a service of convenience. If you think their prices are a “scam” you can take the time, effort and money to import one yourself
Yeah, those sellers should just eat the import duty and sell it at a loss, just so people in Australia can get it for the same price

Those are prehistoric phones in no way relevant to this discussion
At least with “Find my” I can just login anywhere and lock it.
Unless you use your phone for 2fa, which most people do
Yes, because the only people buying Nintendo Switch games are the ones who don’t care about the price in the first place. If you want to save money on switch games you just pirate them
No need to install Android for that, there is a native Moonlight port for the switch. Will get you better performance and battery life than trying to do the same thing with Android
The Exynos is a deal breaker. What use is a phone when the battery is dead after a half day of use
Just install wireguard and download a wireguard config file for PIA
I guess Ill give it another look. Onshapes licensing is not compatible with my 3d printing side-gig, and Fusion360, although it has a very fairly priced startup license, requires me to run a Windows VM
