The iPhone 17 led the Top 10 bestsellers list with 6% overall market sales share for the quarter, iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro take the next two spots.
Just of note, they jumped straight from S10 to S20 to match the year number (but really, they just wanted a bigger number than the iPhones), so there is no S11 to 19 inclusive. Also, the devices (especially the “base models”) have stayed the same for ages save the incremental chip bumps. The spec sheets of the S22 and S26 are nearly identical, save for maybe the addition of “Galaxy AI ready”
If the phone works for you, don’t upgrade. And if you do need an upgrade, avoid Samsung nowadays since One UI is really bloated + locked bootloader so no custom ROM support. The Fairphone, Xperia, or (used) Pixel devices are all quite good if you want a cleaner stock OS w/ support for custom ROMs. There are also others, like HMD, Motorola, etc.

Thank you for the information and the advice. I swear at this point I would be happy to get my old motor flip phone.
